PEDAL the Peel Cycle Challenge 2012 has been a long time in the planning, however we are happy to report the event was a huge success, with just under 300 registered riders raising in excess of $10,000 for local charities.

We have had tremendous feedback from riders, volunteers and the general public which will all assist in planning for the future. Our vision is to grow the event to the point where it becomes a “must do” on the cycling calendar.
We hope to retain it as a family event, creating a carnival atmosphere with activities for children and non-riders, enabling us to further support local charities into the future.
However, none of this would be at all possible without the support of our major sponsors, National Australia Bank, Forsyths Chartered Accountants and Everingham Solomons Solicitors, the generosity of local businesses, the support of our local media, our huge band of volunteers and a tremendous amount of hours put in by our committee.
