It may be 35 days until Christmas as of yesterday , but the end of the primary school year was only 30 days away.
Dates for the last day of the school year differ between high schools and primary schools.
Officially, Friday, December 21 is the last day for NSW public schools, however several in Tamworth are closing earlier.
For example, Peel High School and Tamworth High School will finish up on Wednesday, December 19.
Carinya Christian School will close up for the summer holidays on Thursday, December 6, while Calrossy Anglican School’s primary campus will finish on Friday, December 7.
School will restart in the first week of February.
