Specialist Manager - Lift & Shift
Port Hedland, WA

Our Lift & Shift Specialist business offers an extensive range of lifting and materials handling equipment to help get any job done on large commercial construction and civil infrastructure developments

As the Specialist Manager, you are accountable for the profitability of the specialist product, developing customer relationships, growing the revenue pipeline, providing expertise on specialist equipment, innovative solution to solve customer problems and recommending new equipment to stay ahead of market trends.

Responsibilities;

  • Accountable for the performance of the specialist product, managing the specialist product P&L
  • Role model and coach safe behaviour in accordance with Kennards Safe Work policies and procedures
  • Develop customer relationships, grow the revenue pipeline, provide expertise on specialist equipment and innovative solutions to solve customer problems
  • Recommending new equipment to stay ahead of market trends
  • Lead & engage the team to drive and maximise revenue and achieve budget
  • Prepare end of month reports and action business lost

About you

  • Previous people management experience - delegate, coach and develop others
  • A proven track record in financial & operational management and drivers of performance - P/L management, budgeting, forecasting
  • Outstanding customer service leadership including demonstrated ability to role model customer service standards and positively manage customer concerns
  • Strength in developing customer relationships & networks to identify business development opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to proactively develop new customer relationships and engage a team
  • Kennards Hire operates as part of the construction industry in Western Australia. The Western Australia government requires all authorised workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19
