Purchasing Officer

We have an exicting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our Supply Chain team, supporting the Xtrapolis 2.0 project in Ballarat!

In this role you will be primarily responsible for ensuring goods delivery at right time, quantity and place based on projects needs as well as working closely with internal and expressing the delivery needs to suppliers and contribute to governance of the Supplier's delivery performances.   

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

• Manage stock policy and inventory levels.
• Calculate and Update Forecasts.
• Organize and maintain regular reviews with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances.
• Track missing parts until stock availability.
• Ensure non-conformities replacement through NCR process.

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or purchasing or supply chain.
• Previous work experience in a similar role within supply chain. 
• Proven track record in Material requirement planning and Inventory management & Material Planning techniques
• Experience with Supply Chain concepts and ERP's, SAP highly beneficial. 
• Flexible to travel interstate when required.

This is a permanent position based in Ballarat.
