An established and prominent private school in the Upper North Shore, has an exciting and interesting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the College Finance division. Committed to both its students and their parents, this school is passionate about education and delivering excellent customer service.
Your new role
In this position you will be responsible for providing administrative support and being the gatekeeper for the Director. Your duties will include organising appointments with multiple stakeholders around various schedules, extensive diary management, formatting reports including proofreading and preparing parent correspondence and managing multiple projects. You will also be responsible for organising some committee meetings and occasionally be required to take minutes. This role will be high pressured and fast paced in a complex environment. You will regularly liaise with parents, manage or defuse any difficult situations including finding solutions to any problems as they arise and working collaboratively with the Director to support them effectively. In addition, you will also support on some financial administration as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have had previous experience as an Executive Assistant and have experience with finance administration. You will need to have a high level of attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You would need to possess advanced computer skills and be highly organised. This position would suit a dynamic people person, who is highly organised and is able to anticipate their Executives’ needs before they arise. You will be pro-active and have foresight to plan ahead and manage workload effectively to ensure efficient operations of the School. You will also be required to apply for a NSW working with children check before commencing.

This is an immediate 6-month fixed term opportunity with a competitive salary. This is negotiable between $75-85k+super subject to skills and experience. The contract has potential to be made permanent after the 6-months.
