We are seeking a digital leader for our Transportation business line across our Australia and New Zealand region, to lead the overall digital transformation for this business line in 3 key areas:

  • Maturing the delivery of the core transportation services

  • Creating new digital capabilities (consulting services and hosted solutions) to support the transportation businesses globally to derive increased value from data

  • Supporting our transportation business clients on their own digital transformation

As a senior member of the ANZ Transportation team, and indirectly reporting to the Global Digital Leader for Transportation and the Regional Digital Director ANZ, this role will work with professionals around the world to advance AECOM’s global digital strategies and priorities. The local and global digital team includes strategy, solution management, hosted services delivery, and consulting services delivery. While services and solution management will be set globally, they will be tailored for implementation within the region and for each client.

This role will collaborate closely with digital leaders from other regions and Business Lines, to define and execute on a global digital strategy that accelerates transformation and delivers growth. The Digital Leader will be experienced in driving ideas from conception to adoption. A particular focus will be on supporting our global strategy to derive increased value for our clients from data and differentiate in the market through our Intellectual Property. The successful applicant will be expected to facilitate workshops, write business cases, support strategic bids and prepare materials to assist with the adoption of new digital capabilities.

This role will work closely with teams across ANZ to win work, mature digital delivery tools and processes as well as create new hosted services and digital consulting service offerings. The digital leader will collaborate on business cases and will take ownership of and champion regional adoption plans of agreed initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Significant experience in Engineering delivery or digital solution delivery

  • Demonstrated experience growing a digital business (or business line)

  • Excellent collaborative influencing skills

  • Demonstrated innovation delivery

  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skill.

  • Knowledge of financial reporting (return on investment)

  • Experience managing research and development

  • Experience working in international teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Science or Information Management

  • MBA or other business degree (desirable)
