Delivery Driver

DGL Warehousing and Distribution is currently seeking professional drivers for fulltime roles operating Utes, Vans, Rigids, Semi-Trailers, up to B-Double sets.

About the roles

Based at the Acacia Ridge warehouse, the roles are Full Time, Monday to Friday with good opportunity for Overtime. The successful applicants will join a small but experienced team of drivers, utilising modern and maintained equipment covering a delivery area of Brisbane metro and surrounds, Ipswich, Gold, and Sunshine Coast locations. Payrate is well above the award, there is an EBA in place until August 2023, which includes scheduled pay increases.

Skills and attributes to be considered: ·       

Hold a current driver’s license (HR, HC, MC)

Minimum 3 years driving experience (essential)

Dangerous Goods Licence (Highly regarded)

Previous multidrop experience in a similar role in Southeast QLD (essential)

Ability to complete daily vehicle inspections and other related drivers’ documentation

Demonstrate a high level of safety both on the road and in the workplace

Posses a strong work ethic coupled with good attitude and proven reliability

Understanding of regulations including COR, DG Awareness and/or Food Handling

Ability to use a Smart device

Ability to work overtime when required
