We are working for a reputable builder within the Port Macquarie region who is looking for an experienced contract administrator to join their team. Our client predominately works in the government commercial space with a strong pipeline of projects.

This is a great opportunity to establish a long term career within a local industry leading and well established business with clearly defined areas for growth.

Working in a team alongside the Project Managers and Estimators.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Contracts Administrator will include:

  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations
  • Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
  • Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
  • Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
  • Administration of the project HSE system
  • Take offs, quotes, estimates and ordering materials
  • Sourcing suppliers and negotiating rates
  • Tendering for projects

To be considered for the role of Contracts Administrator you will require:

  • Degree qualified in construction management or equivalent
  • Experience working as a CA on new built commercial and ideally experience with government (schools, libraries, childcare centre)
  • Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills
