Your new role
In your new role you will be working full time hours, Monday to Friday and will see you undertake duties such as:

  • Processing all ASIC correspondence to clients
  • Ordering Companies, Trust and Super Funds
  • Preparing ABN and TFN Applications for new Companies and Trusts
  • Processing all ATO correspondences to Clients
  • Ordering Company Searches (including Entering of Disbursement)
  • Ordering Land Title Searches (including Entering of Disbursement)
  • Lodgement of Tax Returns, BAS Statements, IAS
  • Liaising with State Revenue Offices - Organising Payment Arrangements
  • Emailing Clients, request information required for preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS etc
  • Answering Telephone Calls and Responding to General Client Enquiries
  • Scanning, Filling and General Ad Hoc Duties (share with current Administration Team)
  • Preferred to be able to assist Macquarie National Group P/L with drafting legal documents in Microsoft Word.

Key Requirements of Candidates:

  • Experience with MYOB (A) and XERO

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will need to:

  • Be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
  • Have qualifications in either Accounting or Legal Services (at University or TAFE)
  • Have come from an Accounting or Legal Firm with ASIC and ATO correspondence
  • Will accept applications from Accounting Graduates

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Have Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and effectively manage your time
