A LITTLE girl was taken to hospital after she fell off a horse near Warialda yesterday.
The Tamworth-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was called to retrieve the seven-year-old from Warialda hospital at 9am.
It appears she had fallen from the horse while riding at the Warialda Show, then was clipped by the horse’s hoof and suffered a cut to her head and possible back injuries.
She was flown to Tamworth hospital, arriving about 11.20am. She was reported to be in a stable condition.
