GUNNEDAH’S Wade Hudson has returned from the International Field Archery Association (IFAA) World Championships held in Miramar, Argentina, with a coveted team gold medal and an individual bronze medal. Hudson was part of the seven member Australian team which contested the Team of Nations event at the World Championships.

After five days of intense competition it came down to a nail-biting finish on the final day with the Australian team winning the contest by just five points from the powerful USA team.
Host nation, Argentina, finished third.
Australia won the Team of Nations event at the 2010 World Championships for the first time and to score back-to-back wins in this prestigious event is regarded as a monumental achievement.
In the individual event Wade Hudson finished with the bronze medal, narrowly missing second place by just four points.
