Losing the traditional blue shorts, hi-vis gear and toolbelts, the blokes and their glamorous wives and girlfriends donned their finest formal wear to raise funds for the Tamworth hospital children’s ward.
About 80 people attended the ball at the Tamworth Golf Club, slightly more than last year.
The 2011 ball raised $4000. Funds raised from this year’s ball were expected to be similar to last year’s tally.
TRADIES IN TIES: Jeff Cork, Kevin McIlveen and Larry Marker. 021112RCG04
