Sharon Strudwick is being held in custody after breaching her court-imposed bail in Tamworth.

The 54-year-old was first charged after being arrested by Strike Force Radius detectives in Denison Street at West Tamworth on May 30.

She's pleaded not guilty to charges of supplying more than an indictable quantity of heroin in November and a second supply charge for an alleged drug transaction in January.

It's the police case that she contacted her co-accused, Stephen Ross Hanshaw, in prison in June, while on conditional bail.

Strudwick was initially granted release in Tamworth Local Court on May 30 to report daily, was subject to a night curfew and was assessed to participate in a rehabilitation program in the community.

She was also specifically ordered by magistrate Julie Soars, at the time, to abstain from drugs and ordered not to contact co-accused, Hanshaw.

Earlier this month, Oxley detectives uncovered the bail breach and arrested Strudwick at her West Tamworth home, before lodging a detention application.

Magistrate Soars found the breach had been established and revoked Strudwick's bail, ordering her into custody where she will remain until at least August.

Hanshaw is alleged to be one of the main culprits in the drug and gun supply ring; police claim he was operating the "ice castle business" out of his Petra Avenue housing commission unit.

He's behind bars on 44 drug supply and gun charges, including supply of a large commercial quantity of drugs. He could face life imprisonment if found guilty.

Police are still searching for four people believed to be on the run as part of the 'ice castle' investigation.

Seventeen men and woman are before the courts on more than 145 charges.
