Held at UNE, games will be played on the Bellevue Oval turf wicket, commencing at 9.30am and running through to 4pm.
Teams will consist of eight players with at least four international participants.
Northern Inland is putting the call out for teams with only two so far nominating – one from UNE and one from Narrabri.
Nominations will be taken up to Friday both from teams or individuals that are keen on their cricket.
“The day is about bringing together our multicultural residents from across the region to a fun, yet competitive cricket day for the Northern Inland region,” Cricket NSW Development Manager for the Northern Inland Region Kathy Barber said.
It is hoped that it will lead into a local program of social multicultural cricket for the 2018/2019 season.
The top two teams after the round games will go through to a final on Sunday afternoon.
It will be a real festival of cricket with the Armidale senior grand finals also taking place on the weekend.
