Corrinne Cloake and Lynda Dehm from the Denison Street Early Learning Centre have both been nominated for the Australian Early Education and Care Awards in the Director and Educator of the Year categories respectively.

“Daycare families and members of the public make the nominations, so it is lovely to be recognised, particularly in a job where there is not a lot of feedback,” Ms Dehm said.

“It would be lovely if all the educators here were nominated, we are just two people in a whole team.” 

Nominations close on March 11, with the national winners sharing in $85,000 worth of prizes and professional training.
