About 35 Fire and Rescue NSW leaders will travel from as far as Port Macquarie, Ballina and Sydney for the Regional North Leadership Conference to be held over Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tamworth zone Superintendent Tom Cooper said the conference would be held at both the Regional North 3 Zone Office and Ibis Styles Motel over the two days with operations management, technology upgrades and even counter terrorism on the agenda.
“It’s an initiative to share the love around,” he said.
“We’re bringing people across the mountain and into my patch so they can understand mine and the community’s needs here compared to theirs.”
