Grab your friends and get ready to boogie as this hit-after-hit concert extravaganza brings to life some of the best female anthems the world has ever known.

Described by audiences as “The Supremes meets Destiny’s Child”, the show features television personality Casey Burgess (Hi-5, Home and Away), Moulin Rouge star Shikye Smith and soul singing sensation Hannah-May Buckley.

Each member of The Diamonds has had extensive careers in their own right.

Shikye Smith has enjoyed a long career in the spotlight singing and dancing from an early age. At the tender age of 19 years, Shikye crossed the globe to star at the iconic Moulin Rouge in Paris.

Back home in Sydney, Shikye has performed as a dancer on television shows such as The Voice and X-Factor and was Miss Galaxy International 2017 as well as being much in demand as one of Australian’s leading models.

Casey Burgess is a singer/songwriter and actress who is widely known for her work on the popular children’s show High-5 and Hannah-May Buckley is a leading Australian vocalist.

Backed by their sensational live band The Players, this spectacular show weaves together more than five decades of music with amazing harmonies, stunning costumes, and choreography by internationally renowned Cameron Mitchell (So You Think You Can Dance).

Performing at both Capitol Theatre Tamworth and Bendemeer Town Hall as part of Tamworth Regional Council’s initiative Capitol Theatre Presents, this dynamic group of performers, whose deep understanding of Klezmer, the celebratory and soulful music of Eastern European Jews, is reflected in passionate performances.

The group plays old and new traditional material guaranteed to move audiences from toe-tapping to tears and back again. The group is Ilana Cravitz (violin), Susi Evans (clarinet), Carol Isaacs (accordion) – all direct from the UK – and Aussie, Indra Buraczewska (double bass and vocals).

Within a year of its formation in 2009, the London Klezmer Quartet was being booked by leading UK world and folk music promoters and festivals.
