For two decades the Ecopellas, an a capella group who sing environmental-themed songs, have been performing around the country supporting various environmental causes.

Now they’ve turned their attention to the Narrabri Gas Project, performing songs on the banks of the Bohena Creek.

“The North West is special for Ecopella,” group member Miguel Heatwole said.

“Quite a number of us have visited not only as tourists but as invited guests of the local community who are concerned about the threat that coal seam gas extraction poses to the underground water that many in the North West depend on.”
