TAMWORTH police are investigating an incident involving four teenagers in a park in West Tamworth on Tuesday.
About 5.45pm, it was reported a 13-year-old girl was approached by two girls and a male youth in Centennial Park.
Police said after a brief conversation it is understood one of the girls attempted to take hold of the younger girl’s arm.
She resisted, but in the process, a mobile phone was taken from the 13-year-old’s pocket before the group ran away.
Police said the 13-year-old was not injured.
