Back to school is always an exciting time for students, parents and teachers.
The school year holds so much potential.
Friends are reunited and summer holiday stories are told.
We’ve taken a stroll down memory lane to the end of January in 2007 and the end of January 2008 when the students went back to school, some for their last year ever, some for their final year in primary school and others for the first time.
There were swimming carnival, buddies allocated, school captains announced and tears for some kids (and mums) on their very first day.
Take a look back on who was going to school in January 2007 and 2008.
- Children across the region head back to school check out the 2018 kids head back to school (or perhaps attending for the first time.)
- This time last year, little Chloe Chappel was battling acute lymphoblastic leukaemia – her second battle with the disease in her less than four years of life.
- Helping kids master their emotions was the name of the game when eight schools across the region took part in a staff development day at Nundle yesterday.
