Simmonds was overwhelmed to be named Female Artist of the Year with the established artist having been nominated several times before.

It caps off a successful 12-months for the singer-songwriter following the release of her album More than Meets the Eye. For Dallas, it’s the second time she’s experienced awards glory having taken home the golden guitar award for Best New Talent in 2014.
