There was a whole lot of fast-paced and clench-your-teeth action as the Australian Bushmen's Campdraft and Rodeo Association (ABCRA) national finals kick off.
A huge crowd has turned out for the event, as budding cowboys and cowgirls set their eyes on the arena.
ABCRA's elite competitors are vying for more than $175,000 in cash and prizes as well as championship titles from tonight until Saturday.
Championship hopefuls will be pitting their skills against some of Australia's best rodeo stock making for an action packed night of entertainment.
The finals come just days after a 1500-strong crowd showed up for the ABCRA Cowboy Up event at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre on Saturday night.
In its second annual event, Cowboy Up featured elite bull and saddle bronc riding, a ute and truck show and a benefit concert.
The riders took on the bulls, broncs and bareback bronc riding.
Some junior riders tried their luck on junior bulls.
