Author of the award winning Busy Izzy book series, and Tamworth country music identity, Roxanne Kiely is putting on a free show for the kids on Thursday at Teamo Cafe.

Mrs Kiely, along with her songwriting partner Stephen Kiely, will be officially launching the third book in the series, Busy Izzy and Talkative Tess, with a live music and storytelling performance from 10am.
Key to the Busy Izzy books’ success is the songs that accompany the story, which recently picked up the Children’s category gong at the 2017 Australian Songwriting Association Awards.
The books also address educational issues such as numeracy, literacy and nutrition through rhyme and rhythm, which has led to them being integrated into the World Literacy Foundation’s solar tablet project.
Owner of Teamo Paul Fisher is excited to be introducing the Kielys, and Busy Izzy, to the children of Tamworth.
“Roxanne is great – the show will be really entertaining and a bit different,” Mr Fisher said.
