But the crews joined forces on Monday afternoon in their first of four boot-scooting performances to raise money for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
The team at Westpac Bank Tamworth has been line dancing at Tamworth Country Music Festival for 19 years to help keep the life-saving chopper in flight.
A strong crowd of locals and visitors converged on the bank’s Peel Street branch to catch their 4.30pm performance on Monday.
Westpac staff were joined by the The Northern Daily Leader Queen of Country Music Quest entrants as they took centre stage to perform a purpose-choreographed line dance.
Festival-goers dug deep into their pockets to throw cash into buckets being handed around, with every cents going towards the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
This year marks the 19th year the Westpac Bank has line danced at TCMF to raise money for the service – and staff aren’t shying away from the challenge.
You can catch the Westpac Bank staff line dancing outside their Peel Street branch from 4.30pm Tuesday to Thursday. The Queens of Country Music are also expected to perform.
Check out The Northern Daily Leader’s website for photos from the crew’s first performance.
