A Tamworth side consisting of girls and boys made it to Friday’s final, where a typically gusty display was not enough to defeat Manly.
The hosts won the toss and sent Manly into bat in a one-dayer reduced from 50 to 40 overs after rain seeped under the covers and resulted in a delayed start.
Jackson Griffiths top-scored for the visitors with 47, before falling to Jess Davidson, the main wicket-taker with four.
Sam Fox claimed two scalps.
Tamworth’s run chase was hobbled by a steady stream of wickets that ended when they were dismissed for 104 in the 35th over. Davidson top-scored with 29, followed by Tom Laird (22).
Tamworth coach Joe Cameron said: “They handled the conditions a little better than us. They were too good for us.”
