League fans can get up close and personal with one of the game’s former greats in Tamworth on Thursday night.

Bunnings Warehouse is hosting a meet and greet with rugby league legend, Nathan Hindmarsh.

Hindmarsh was recruited to Parramatta as a 16 year old and rose through the ranks to co-captain the first grade side in 2010, becoming sole captain in 2011 before retiring at the end of the 2012 season.

There’ll be plenty of fun to keep the kids entertained, including face painting, jumping castle, snow cones, a community BBQ, lucky door prizes, helium balloons and a self serve kids craft table.

Mums and dads have not been forgotten either, with suppliers and staff on hand for a number of tool demonstrations.

You can also test you ball skills, and try landing the footy into the cement mixer.

  • When: Thursday, 11 January, Bunnings Taminda
  • Time: 5pm-7pm
