Fire and Rescue NSW crews along with ambulance and police rushed to the Caltex Woolworths on Bridge Street after a car collided with a petrol bowser, just before 9.30am.
A spokesperson for Ambulance NSW said a male, believed to be able 60, was treated at the scene.
He was not transported to hospital.
It’s understood the petrol tanks were shut down and repair crews were still on the scene on Wednesday afternoon.
