It was a big year for The Leader photographer Peter Hardin. With a lot of stand out images, it was very hard to cull it down to just 20 images.

I like to photograph anything that moves and not moves, so this collection sees a bit of everything included.
From storm fronts with lightning and a sunset to our politicians, house fires to country music singers, from cows to Agquip and flying foxes to the first day of spring with a baby lamb and a couple of kids thrown in for good luck. From our other photographer Gareth Gardner who I had to photograph for an award he received to a person getting arrested in Marius Street.
One of my favouite images is the sunset with lightning in it taken from the lookout here in Tamworth. And my second is of Ray Tait who retired after 40 years as a paramedic.
Most of all they are great images with lots more I could have chosen.
