Where the stars get frocked and suited up and make their way down the read carpet, hopefully to glory.
The Toyota Golden Guitar Awards, the 46th Country Music Awards of Australia, will be held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre on Saturday, January 27.
The who's who of the the industry will gather to celebrate a great year in music and the achievements of the artists.
The finalists were announced in a gala event in Sydney in late 2017.
Leading the charge with six finalist places each is Kasey Chambers, The McClymonts, Travis Collins and Amber Lawrence.
The Bushwackers, Australia’s premier bush/folk/country band, have come away with five finalist spots with their album The Hungry Mile.
With four finalist places apiece is Lee Kernaghan, Shane Nicholson, and The Davidson Brothers.
After taking out the new talent award in 2017, rising star Fanny Lumsden is in the running for three awards with her album Real Class Act. Newcomer Brad Butcher also up for three awards.
Adam Brand, Ashleigh Dallas, O’Shea, Tania Kernaghan, Darren Coggan, Matt Cornell and Tom Curtain have each landed two finalist berths.
And rounding out the finalists with a single place each is Gretta Ziller, Drew McAlister, Aleyce Simmonds, Carter & Carter, Dale Duncan, Dean Perrett, Dianne Lindsay, Graham Rodger, Ian Quinn, Michael Fix, Mickey Pye, Tommy Emmanuel, Carpenter Caswell, Runaway Dixie, The Morrisons, Wide Island, Casey Barnes, Judah Kelly, Small Town Romance and Morgan Evans.
Two new categories have also been introduced this year - Contemporary Country Album of the Year and Traditional Country Album of the Year.
“With the many different styles and genres of country music being performed and enjoyed today, the decision to introduce new Album of the Year categories ensures the album awards are more inclusive, and creates further opportunities to welcome more artists who work in country music into the Awards," Country Music Association of Australia chairman Dobe Newton said.
