It will be all systems go for trainers like Sally Torrens - not that it bothers her won iota.
She wouldn't have it any other way.
"It's a way of life. I've never known anything else and all horse trainers are the same," Torrens said.
"It's a 24/7 occupation but we do it because we love it.
"We're our own bosses, so to speak, and it's a great lifestyle.
"You get to meet so many different people at every different track you go to. You've got a bunch of friends wherever you go."
Torrens' day is bound to be busier than usual, too.
Torrens nominated seven horses for the day - six of which were accepted while the seventh was named an emergency.
One of those seven horses is Guilty As Sin.
The Gunnedah trainer rates the mare - who will line up in the Power Control And Communications - Santa's Sprint BM65 Handicap (1300m) - as one of her best chances for the day.
"She won last start, she's a pretty handy mare," Torrens said.
"If things go her way, she's always thereabouts."
Not only does Torrens train all her horses, she also owns or parts owns them, too.
Members of her family also have shares in the horses while some strap for her which makes each race meeting a family affair.
"I own all of these, my brother and sister-in-law, nephew, mum and dad all have small interests in them," Torrens said.
"They'll be there [on Saturday].
"My dad and nephew are my number one strappers. My brother, his wife and their three kids, they just love the horses and they'll be there too.
"There's no better feeling than watching your horse go across the post in front, that's for sure."
The first race will kick off at 12.45pm with the XXXX Gold Jingle Bells Maiden Plate (1000m) while the the Mannion Drilling/Ultrafleet Christmas Hams Cup Benchmark 65 Handicap (1600m) is scheduled to jump at 4.32pm.
