Gravesend Sydney 6er's win Warialda MILO T20 Blast Schools Cup

Students from Warialda Public, St Joseph’s Warialda, Gravesend and Yetman hit up a storm at Warialda Public School when they participated in the MILO T20 Blast Schools Cup.

The overall honours went to the Gravesend Sydney 6er’s, who were undefeated throughout the day and showed amazing sportsmanship and cricket skills.

The aim of the small schools T20 Blast Schools Cup is to ensure that students at all schools are aware of the opportunities that exist to play cricket around their towns.

The standard of cricket was high throughout the day with big hits being displayed by many of the girls off the boys’ bowling.

On the back of the success of the day, and after hosting a Saturday program during Term 4, Warialda Junior Cricket will be running a Stage 1 Junior Formats Cricket program at Warialda Public School in Term 1.

The program will be held on a Wednesday at the school from 4.30pm and commence on February 21 and run through to March 28.
