A stellar effort by the school saw close to $10,000 raised for the Movember foundation.
Students and teachers mustered their moustache moolah as the “Farrer Gents of 2018”, with their fundraising feats culminating with an auction at the school, last week, led by old boy and auctioneer Chris Gooch.
Principal Clint Gallagher commended the students for their fundraising nous and initiative.
“It’s very satisfying to see,” Mr Gallagher said.
“A few of the boys promoted men’s health issues at an assembly.
“We’re very conscious of teaching these things outside of the usual curriculum and teaching them to give back to the community.”
