After voting days this week, the Challenge Community Services Wonderland art competition winners were announced at Ray Walsh House on Friday, with 22 winners sharing in a $2500 prize pool.
“It was great to see so many people enjoying the colourful display and casting their votes for their favourite artwork,” Challenge CEO Barry Murphy said.
Class five at Bullimbal School for Specific Purposes took home first prize in the 0-12 years category, along with the award for people’s choice.
Bullimbal’s Alisha Frazier was named as runner up, while student Bailey Stokes received an encouragement award. Tiffany Doyle of Armidale was named as the winner of the 19-years plus category and Liam Hay received an encouragement award. Three foster care children from Tamworth also took home awards on the day.
