Gross and White were selected in the CHS firsts and Hofman the CHS seconds side to play at the NSW All Schools Championships.
On Friday the Jenny Steepe-coached side put the disappointment of missing the semi-finals behind them to beat North Coast 10-3 and secure fifth overall.
With the water polo season really starting to heat up Hofman, younger sister Sarah, and Hannah Irwin then made their way to Nowra for the under 14 and under 16 Country Club Championships.
Irwin and Sarah Hofman are playing for the Tamworth under 14s, while Lucy Hofman and Billie Mitchell, who was earlier in the week named in the Combined Catholic Colleges side for the All Schools, are playing for a Barbarians side.
Sean Hofman and Abby Griffiths are co-coaching the Tamworth side and using the weekend as preparation for their upcoming state and national campaigns.
“We’ve got state in a couple of weeks. We’re building towards that,” Hofman said.
“We’ll be trying a few new combinations, and a few new plays, and working on our technique.”
They have four games on Saturday and if they can start well they should go well, he said.
