The public has the chance to meet and greet with local police officers and other authorities at an information day at Chaffey Dam on Sunday.
Kootingal Police will have a mobile police station parked in the car park near the amenity block of Chaffey Dam this Sunday.
The mobile police station will be open from 10am until 2pm to answer any questions and provide the public with other useful information.
The Kootingal sector, comprising Kootingal and Nundle police, will be available, as well as officers from the Maritime Services, NSW Fisheries and DPI inspectors, who are all keen to answer any questions.
Families are encouraged to bring their children, as there will be brochures, hand-outs, information packages and stickers available.
