Mia Gillon, aged 27, and her two young children were last seen at a property in Armidale on Sunday, November 12.
There are concerns for their welfare.
Police have been following several lines of inquiry and have received information that Ms Gillon may still be in the Glenn Innes/Inverell area or may be travelling to Toowoomba, Queensland with the children.
Ms Gillon is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm-170cm tall, of a slim build with shoulder length dark hair.
The boy is described as being four-years-old, of Caucasian appearance, and with brown hair.
The second child is a newborn boy.
Police are urging anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Ms Gillon to contact Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 000 333.
