People are invited to claim their picnic spot from 6:30pm onwards, with the main program commencing at 7:30. The combined Lions clubs of Tamworth and the Salvation Army will be manning the BBQ with a guarantee of a steady supply of food. Candles and drinks will also be available.
The entertainment will include music provided by the Pipe Band and the Brass Band and the Tamworth Pipe Band prior from 6:30pm up until the commencement of the carols at 7:30pm.
The carol singing will be led by a locally formed choir backed by the Tamworth Conservatorium Concert Band. Throughout the night there will be a mixture of choir, solo and duo acts, which will be interspersed with Bible readings and children’s spots.
A bucket walk will collect donations to Angel Flight.
The night will conclude with Fireworks at about 9:15pm.
The combined churches appreciate the valued sponsorship by Calrossy Anglican School, Woodleys Motors, Pulse Kitchens, St Peters Pre-school, The Northern Daily Leader, Northern Inland Credit Union, BBQ’s Galore and Tamworth Regional Council without which we could not present the Carols.
So mark your diary and pray for a mild calm dry night so we can all celebrate the season in joyous song.
