Different types of heavenly bodies now appear there daily as the old cinema enjoys a new lease of life as a busy gym.
The venue is now for sale and the next owner will become the custodian of an amazing piece of history.
The theatre still contains many of its original features like its distinctive facade along with internal features like the foyer, pressed tin ceilings, stage and screening area. There are even two projectors.
Craig Schofield of One Agency says it's a special building and the pride of the local community.
"It's the first building you see when you cross the bridge into the town," he says.
"I think everyone hopes that it's set for another role the community can support."
Schofield says the building has worked well as a gym and that the business model might appeal to someone in the fitness industry.
"Equally, the Olympia has the potential to house a wide variety of businesses - something that leveraged its history could work really well," he says.
"The block has potential for further development, subject to normal approval processes."
Bombala is 2?? hours from Canberra and is halfway between Sydney and Melbourne.
