The free ABARES Tamworth Regional Outlook conference will be held on Wednesday at Ibis Styles Tamworth.
Attendees will be able to meet the speakers – who include The Conscious Farmer’s Derek Blomfield and Bureau of Meteorology’s Stephen Lellyett – ask questions, make new professional connections and share their own industry knowledge.
Assistant Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Luke Hartsuyker will give the opening address.
The program will also cover free-trade agreements, climate-adjusted productivity, sustainable cropping and more.
The event runs from 8.30am for 9am, through to 4pm.
