Competitions will also be played in the Illawarra, Riverina, Central Coast-Hunter, the Hasting’s League and the Western Region.
Over 1500 players have signed up for the six-week competitions.
The Group 4 competition will feature Bendermeer, Collegians, Uralla, North Tamworth, Werris Creek and South West Robins. The teams will play in an open-age competition.
Group 21 will feature Aberdeen, Denman, Singleton, Merriwa, Murrurundi and Muswellbrook. They will also compete in an open competition.
The CRL said that with the increasing popularity of rugby league among women in all forms of the game, the nines was a “great opportunity for current, returning or new players to try an alternative version of the game”.
