Following a trip to Goonoo Goonoo Station in January co-host of Channel Ten’s The Living Room Miguel Maestre heard of Roy’s Purple Garlic, and it’s equally unique creator.
The crew then headed out to the Cody’s Wallamore rd property, and after inspecting the all organic set-up got to work concocting a dish that would reflect the product and the region.
“Miguel is a laugh a minute, we had a great day out on the farm and he cooked up a storm,” Mr Cody said.
“I can’t tell you what it was until after the show airs, but it was very good.”
The former high school maths teacher turned arborist, turned garlic farmer has his own unique method of planting and growing on top of the ground using gum tree mulch, although all is set to be revealed on The Living Room at 7.30pm Friday night.
