It was Crazy Sock Day at the school and students were asked to think outside the box and wear some ‘out there’ socks on Wednesday.
The event is part of the Catholic Mission’s Socktober awareness campaign, with the whole school joining in to help out.
Through the month of October the Catholic Mission is aiming to “sock it to poverty” and encourages Catholic schools to engage in advocacy and philanthropic activities.
Students were encouraged to wear their crazy coloured socks to school for a gold coin donation to go towards the cause.
Catholic schools across the nation have also joined in on the action with similar sock days, or sock-related activities held in a mission to help some of the world’s most needy and vulnerable children to be able to afford more opportunities.
