It’s understood the fire broke out shortly before 5pm and was contained within a matter of minutes.
A spokesperson for Ambulance NSW said eight people were assessed by paramedics at the scene but only one person was treated.
It’s understood the patient treated was a Corrective Services officer.
A doctor has also been asked to attend the scene.
A spokesperson for NSW Police said the fire had been contained about 5pm but the station was still evacuated.

MOREE Police Station has been evacuated and officers and prisoners marshalled in the carpark after a fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly before 5pm fire crews and ambulances were called to the police station after smoke was seen billowing from the back of the station in Frome St.
It’s understood six prisoners and Corrective Services staff have been evacuated as well as police.
Emergency services at the scene.
