The Professionals real estate joined the fight against breast cancer with a pink themed morning tea and cake stall, as diamond partners with the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Pink cupcakes were up for grabs with other businesses also taking up the opportunity to support the cause.
Along with the sweet treats there was some breast cancer awareness merchandise, with money raised on the day directed back towards research for a cure.
Professionals General manager Brett White thanked the community for their support.
“Every year it’s just wonderful, the team here took cakes around to different businesses and sold them to other agencies as well,” he said.
Meanwhile, on Thursday October 26 Cancer Council NSW’s free webinar series will present a panel discussion on breast reconstruction options for those who have had, or are considering a mastectomy due to a cancer diagnosis.
Guest speakers will include Dr Catherine Boorer, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Gill Neil, a breast care nurse, and Yvonne Hughes, a breast cancer survivor who will talk about her personal experience with breast reconstruction.
Throughout the months of October and November, Cancer Council NSW is raising funds for those affected by women’s cancers.
