The event, held at the Bendemeer Town Hall, attracted visitors from far and wide to check out a range of artwork on display and up for sale.
Art show committee secretary Margaret Hemmings said a wet Friday night made for a smaller crowd at the official opening, but droves of guests walked through the doors on Saturday.
“We had a small intimate crowd and a really nice night with lovely food, it was very, very good,” she said.
“We’re open until the 29th and we always stay open because people come during the week.
“The hall looks lovely and everyone is very pleased with it all.”
The exhibition is open from 10am until 4pm daily.
