He tried to outrun police on the Gwydir Highway, sparking a pursuit, after he failed to stop for a random breath test.
Police terminated the chase for safety reasons after he crossed to the wrong side of the road.
Tucker then drove through a fence on a nearby property before officers gave chase and arrested him, and another woman with a child.
Tucker appeared in the dock of Armidale Local Court and pleaded guilty to police pursuit, driving while disqualified, entering inclosed lands and destroying property.
He was jailed for 18 months with a non-parole period of nine months and also ordered to pay $1500 in compensation to the property owner.
He will be eligible for release in July, 2018.
The woman was released without charge.
