A MAN has been flown to hospital after he was trampled by a horse on a property near Inverell.

The 64-year-old was injured late on Thursday when he was loading the horse onto the float, south of Inverell.
He suffered head, chest and abdominal injuries and was flown by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition.
Not long after, the chopper was tasked to transfer a 75-year-old female from Inverell hospital to Tamworth suffering a medical condition.
