The crash occurred shortly before 5pm at the intersection of Gipps and Denne Streets.
Paramedics assessed two patients at the scene of the crash.
A Ford Falcon and Toyota Rav4 crashed with the impact flipping the Rav4, before it landed on its roof.
Paramedics assessed two patients at the scene before one was taken to Tamworth hospital with minor injuries, an Ambulance NSW spokesperson said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
