I’m just excited at the moment but the nerves will kick in.
- Wade Ryan
The Gunnedah boxer was feeling the excitement around the fight as it neared but knew the nerves wouldn’t be far away.
“Of course I’m going to get nervous. You want to be nervous. It means you’re with it,” Ryan said.
“I’m just excited at the moment but the nerves will kick in.
“I just have to be focused, think positively and relax until the fight.
Ryan won’t be making the trip to Sydney on his own.
There’ll be plenty of friends and family of Ryan’s there to spur the boxer on on.
“The club, Black ‘N’ Blue Boxing, there’s members coming from there and I’ve got family and friends coming down as well,” Ryan said.
“Tim Tszyu’s going to have everyone there supporting him, so, to have people there supporting me, it’s going to be huge. It’s a good boost and I’m very grateful for that.”
Ryan will take to the ring around 3pm on Sunday. The Gunnedah Hotel will be showing the fight.
