Police said hundreds of dollars in cash as well as keys were stolen from a house in Cobb and Co Ct between 11pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday.
A pushbike was stolen from a house in the same street about the same time.
The homes were combed for clues and the keys and the pushbike were recovered nearby. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
Meanwhile, the Tamworth Mens Shed has fallen victim to thieves twice in one week.
Police were called to the Piper St base on Tuesday after thieves forced their way into the group’s headquarters.
A generator, labeller, trolley and keys were stolen between 1.30pm on Saturday and 9am on Tuesday, police said.
It’s the second break-in after cordless screwdrivers, battery chargers and batteries were stolen last week.
